About PayoffCalcs
Free, clear, and private financial calculators – no sign‑up, no tracking, no pop‑ups.
What we do
PayoffCalcs helps you understand your loans. Use our calculators to see your payoff date, compare extra payment strategies, and visualize how small changes save you money.
Every tool runs entirely in your browser. Your numbers never leave your device – no accounts, no emails, no surprises.
How the math works
We use the same amortization formulas that banks use:
- Each month, interest = remaining balance × (annual rate ÷ 12)
- Your payment covers interest first; the rest reduces your principal.
- Any extra payment goes straight to principal – cutting interest and shortening your loan.
The results are estimates, but they’re accurate enough to plan with confidence.
Why PayoffCalcs is free
We show simple, clearly labeled ads from trusted networks (Google AdSense and Adsterra). There are:
- ❌ No pop‑ups or pop‑unders
- ❌ No forced registrations
- ❌ No “premium” paywalls
- ✅ Only banner and in‑content ads that never interrupt your calculation flow
Ad revenue covers hosting and development, so the tools stay free forever.
Your privacy matters
- No data collection. We don’t store your loan amounts, interest rates, or payment details.
- No tracking cookies (except what ad networks require for frequency capping and fraud prevention).
- No personal information is ever asked for or saved.
For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
Who made this
PayoffCalcs is a solo project by a developer who got tired of bloated finance sites and paywalled calculators. The code is clean, the math is transparent, and the focus is always on helping you make better financial decisions – not selling your data.
